Our Story

Over ten years ago, the Hamilton Hobby farm was just a dream that owners Chris and Shelly Hamilton had. Through hard work and perseverance, that dream is now a reality.

The Hamilton Hobby Farm rests on 12 acres of beautiful land in Coombs Country, just west of Qualicum Beach, 2 minutes from the Goats on Roof Market, and right across from Butterfly World! The hobby farm boasts a myriad of animals, including horses, goats, potbelly pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and many other critters.

We love this petting zoo/farm - have been here twice. It's very well run. They're a friendly family with local kid volunteers helping visitors around the farm. You can feed the chickens, brush the goats, see chicks or ducklings, ride a pony and get close to several other animals. It looks like they offer rides around the farm too. We bought some farm-fresh eggs and our kids had a chance to go into the coop and see the girls collect them!"
